Venus Launches 90mm F/2.8 Full-Frame Ultra-Macro

Venus Optics unveiled this morning an incredibly sharp Ultra-Macro lens specially designed for Full-Frame Mirrorless Digital Cameras. This second-generation Dreamer series lens comes with an updated optical design that includes a 13-blade aperture for ultra-smooth backgrounds.
The new Laowa 90mm F/2.8 Dreamer Macro 2X FF II reaches a 2X maximum magnification at 20cm from the focal-plane. Its bright F/2.8 aperture provides a luminous view with razor-thin depth-of-field and can stop down to F/22 to catch more subject-depth. This completely manual lens accepts 67mm filters for added versatility.

This ultra-macro lens is captures a Full-Frame imaging circle and is available for Canon RF, Nikon Z, Sony E and Leica L mounts. The lens weighs 619g, which is on the lighter side for such bright macro lens. All mounts are priced at $500 USD and can be purchased directly on the Venus Optics website.
