Lens Description

The Tamron Di II SP AF 60mm F/2 Macro is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This bright prime has a 60mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 90mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.

This prime can focus down to 23cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 1X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Tamron to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This version has a Nikon F lens mount. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Nikon F mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors. Tamron also made this lens available for Canon EF, Sony A mounts.
