Lens Description

The Sigma A 70mm F/2.8 DG Macro is a normal prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This bright prime has a 70mm focal-length. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.

This prime can focus down to 26cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 1X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Sigma to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This version has a Nikon F lens mount. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Nikon F mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors. Sigma also made this lens available for Canon EF, Sigma S, Sony E mounts.
