Lens Description

The Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG APO Macro HSM II is a normal to medium telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This bright constant-aperture zoom covers a 70mm to 200mm focal-range.

This zoom can focus down to 100cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.28X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.

This version has a Sony A lens mount. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Sony A mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors. Sigma also made this lens available for Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K, Four-Thirds, Sigma S mounts.
