The Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 EX DC APO HSM II is a short telephoto to medium telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This bright constant-aperture zoom covers a 50 to 150mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 75-225mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.
This 3X zoom lens focuses down to 100cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.18X magnification. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.
The lens weighs 780g.
This version of the lens has a Sigma S mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Sigma S mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) or smaller sensors. Sigma also makes this lens for Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K and Sony A mounts.
