The Olympus Stylus XZ-10 is a Compact Digital Camera with a 1/2.3" sensor. Its 12 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-6400 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-6400. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 12 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 17" x 12" at 240 DPI.
A builtin Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Olympus Stylus XZ-10 to compensate for camera shake.
This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2000 to 30s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Olympus Stylus XZ-10 features a Contrast-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame. Manual Focus is also available.
Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. There is no viewfinder on the Olympus Stylus XZ-10 and no provision to add one.
