The Pentax Ricoh GR IV Monochrome is a Compact Digital Camera with an APS-C sensor. Its 26 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 160-409600 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 160-409600. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in very low-light. With 26 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 26" x 17" at 240 DPI.
A builtin 5-Axis Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Pentax Ricoh GR IV Monochrome to compensate for camera shake up to 6-Stops beyond hand-holding.
This camera features a hybrid shutter that can expose for 1/16000 to 20m. Bulb exposures of an unspecified duration are possible with this camera. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/16000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Pentax Ricoh GR IV Monochrome features a Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame.
Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. There is no viewfinder on the Pentax Ricoh GR IV Monochrome and no provision to add one.
