Neocamera just published the review of the Sony Alpha A7R VI. This is the most in-depth review there is of this new Full-Frame Mirrorless Digital Camera. The A7R VI is the newest Sony mirrorless and is positioned as the new A7-series flagship. It debuts a new 67 megapixels Stacked BSI-CMOS sensor that delivers both ultra-high resolution and fast 30 FPS continuous drive simultaneously, giving it one of the highest throughput around.

While it retains the design of its predecessors, its entire imaging pipeline has been completely upgraded. Its new sensor leads Full-Frame cameras on both resolution and dynamic-range. A new AI-trained continuous autofocus system delivers incredibly reliable subject tracking. The 759-Point Phase-Detect AF system is also sensitive to -11 EV, requiring less light than any other camera. There is also a 8½-stop 5-axis IBIS system that matches the more effective Full-Frame stabilization performance.

This flagship mirrorless comes with a new huge 0.9X magnification EVF that has 9.4 megapixels and is capable of 10-bit color with complete DCI-P3 colorspace coverage. It also shows 100% field-of-view coverage and has an essential Eye-Start Sensor. The view through the EVF refreshes at 120 FPS and is blackout-free. Sony finally made full-use of the quadruple control-dials of this mirrorless digital camera.

The Sony Alpha A7R VI is designed for professional photographers with an impressive and refined feature-set.
