Nikon Adds New Silver and Color to Zf

Nikon added new editions of their Zf Full-Frame Mirrorless Digital Camera today. These new additions are all completely identical functionally as the original all-black Nikon Zf launched two years ago exactly. The base of the new Zf variants is silver with a wrap-around plastic band with a texture that mimics leather in either black, teal, pink, green, grey or orange. Each color has an official name where some make sense while others don't, respectively: Black, Teal Blue, Mauve Pink, Moss Green, Stone Gray and Sepia Brown.

With recent camera development cycles, two years is relatively recent. The Nikon Zf still delivers a competitive performance with the most tactile controls of any Nikon digital camera. Its 24 megapixels Full-Frame BSI-CMOS sensor captures excellent quality images with low-noise and great dynamic-range. All Nikon Zf feature a state-of-the-art 5-axis image-stabilization system which compensates for up to 8-stops of vibration. Only two cameras on the market, the Hasselblad X2D II 100C and the Sony Alpha A1 II perform better, yet those cost more than twice!

The Nikon Zf is a highly capable digital camera suitable for professionals. It boasts dual control-dials, plus direct dials for shutter-speed, sensitivity and Exposure-Compensation. Its body is weatherproof and dual asymmetric memory card slots. One accepts SDXC UHS-II while the other takes Micro SDXC UHS-I cards. Photographers frame images with a large 3.7 Megapixels 0.5" EVF that shows 100% coverage at 0.8X magnification. The EVF is paired with an essential Eye-Start Sensor.

The new Nikon Zf colors are expected this month for $2200 USD or $2700 CAD for some colors and $2300 USD or $2830 CAD for colors considered premium. Expect the exact same image-quality and performance regardless of color. The original black Zf is still available for $2000 USD or $2700 CAD.
