The Zeiss Touit 12mm F/2.8 is an ultra-wide prime designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This bright prime has a 12mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 18mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.
This prime lens focuses down to 18cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.11X magnification. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Zeiss to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
The lens weighs 260g.
This version of the lens has a Sony E mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Sony E mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors. Zeiss also makes this lens for Fujifilm X mount.
