The Venus Optics Laowa 65mm T/2.9 2X Macro Cine is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This prime has a 65mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 97.5mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.
This prime lens focuses down to 17cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 2X magnification. The high manification of the Venus Optics Laowa 65mm T/2.9 2X Macro Cine allows it perform true macro photography. The lens is focused externally via a gear around the focus-ring.
The lens weighs 550g.
This version of the lens has a Nikon Z mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Nikon Z mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors. Venus Optics also makes this lens for Canon M, Fujifilm X and Sony E mounts.
