Lens Description

The Sony Alpha DT 16-105mm F/3.5-5.6 is a wide to medium telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 16mm to 105mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 24-157.5mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.

This zoom can focus down to 40cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.23X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. While this lens is capable of AF, it does not have a built-in focus motor. It can only focus with a compatible camera body which features a mechanical AF-coupling.

This lens is only available for Sony A. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Sony A mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors.
