Lens Description

The Sigma 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM is a normal to super telephoto zoom designed for cameras with Full-Frame sensors. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 50mm to 500mm focal range. An optical Image Stabilization System built into the lens compensates for camera shake.

This zoom is capable of focusing down to 50cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.32X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.

This version has a Nikon F lens mount. Follow this link to see all current compatible digital cameras: Nikon F mount cameras with Full-Frame or larger sensor. Sigma also made this lens available for Canon EF, Pentax K, Sony A, Sigma S mounts.
