Sigma 50-200mm F4-5.6 DC OS HSM Lens
For Sony A Mount
The Sigma 50-200mm F4-5.6 DC OS HSM is a short telephoto to medium telephoto zoom designed for cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 50mm to 200mm focal range. It provides the same field of view as a 75mm to 300mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. An optical Image Stabilization System built into the lens compensates for camera shake.
This zoom is capable of focusing down to 110cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.22X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.
This version has a Sony A lens mount. Follow this link to see all current compatible digital cameras: Sony A mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) or larger sensor. Sigma also made this lens available for Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K, Sigma S mounts.
