The Sigma 150mm F/2.8 EX DG OS HSM APO Macro is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This bright prime has a 150mm focal-length. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for camera shake.
This prime lens focuses down to 38cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 1X magnification. The high manification of the Sigma 150mm F/2.8 EX DG OS HSM APO Macro allows it perform true macro photography. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.
The lens weighs 895g. Its body is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. Seals in key areas prevent entry of water and dust.
This version of the lens has a Sony A mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Sony A mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors. Sigma also makes this lens for Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K and Sigma S mounts.
