Lens Description

The Pentax HD D FA* 50mm F/1.4 SDM AW is a normal prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This ultra-bright prime has a 50mm focal-length. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.

This prime can focus down to 40cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.18X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.

This lens is only available for Pentax K. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Pentax K mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors.
