Lens Description

The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm F/2.8-4 ASPH Power OIS is an ultra-wide to short telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a Four-Thirds (2X) sensor. This bright variable-aperture zoom covers a 12 to 60mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 24-120mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for camera shake.

This 5X zoom lens focuses down to 20cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.3X magnification. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Panasonic to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

The lens weighs 320g. Its body is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. Seals in key areas prevent entry of water and dust.

This lens is only available for the Micro Four-Thirds mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Micro Four-Thirds mount cameras.
