Lens Description

The Nikkor AF 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6D ED VR is a short telephoto to super telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 80mm to 400mm focal-range. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for camera shake.

This zoom can focus down to 230cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.2X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. While this lens is capable of AF, it does not have a built-in focus motor. It can only focus with a compatible camera body which features a mechanical AF-coupling.

This lens is only available for Nikon F. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Nikon F mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors.
