The Sony Alpha A6500 is a Mirrorless Digital Camera with an APS-C sensor and a Sony E lens mount. Its 24 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-25600 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-51200. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in very low-light. With 24 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 25" x 16" at 240 DPI.
A builtin 5-Axis Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Sony Alpha A6500 to compensate for camera shake up to 5-Stops beyond hand-holding with any mounted lens.
This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/4000 to 30s. Bulb exposures of an unspecified duration are possible with this camera. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/4000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Sony Alpha A6500 features a 425-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.
Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Framing on the Sony Alpha A6500 is performed via a 0.39" Built-in EVF with 2.4 Megapixels. This extra large EVF has 0.70X magnification and shows 100% coverage.
