Digital Camera Description

The Sigma SD1 Merrill is a Semi-Professional DSLR with an APS-C sensor and a Sigma S lens mount. Its 16 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-6400 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-6400. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 16 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/8000 to 30s. This camera can make Bulb exposures up to 2m. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/8000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.

Sigma SD1 Merrill

The Sigma SD1 Merrill features a 11-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.

Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Framing on the Sigma SD1 Merrill is performed via a large reflex optical viewfinder with 0.95X magnification and 98% coverage. This magnification is equivalent to 0.62X on a Full-Frame camera.
