Digital Camera Description

The Olympus E-3 is a Professional DSLR with a Four-Thirds sensor and a Four-Thirds lens mount. Its 10 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-3200 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-3200. With 10 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

A builtin 2-Axis Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Olympus E-3 to compensate for camera shake with any mounted lens.

This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/8000 to 1m. Bulb exposures of an unspecified duration are possible with this camera. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/8000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.

Olympus E-3

The Olympus E-3 features a 11-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.

Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Framing on the Olympus E-3 is performed via a medium reflex optical viewfinder with 1.15X magnification and 100% coverage. This magnification is equivalent to 0.58X on a Full-Frame camera.
