Digital Camera Description

The Fujifilm FinePix XP140 is a Compact Digital Camera with a 1/2.3" sensor. Its 16 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-12800 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-12800. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 16 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

A builtin Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Fujifilm FinePix XP140 to compensate for camera shake.

This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2000 to 4s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2000, fast action can easily be frozen. Given that is does not support very slow shutter-speeds, this camera is unsuitable for night photography.

Fujifilm FinePix XP140

The Fujifilm FinePix XP140 features a Contrast-Detect AF system.

The Fujifilm FinePix XP140 is waterproof to a 25 meter depth for a maximum of 120 minutes. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. This particular model is also freezeproof down to -10C. There is no viewfinder on the Fujifilm FinePix XP140 and no provision to add one.
