Digital Camera Description

The Canon Powershot S120 is a Compact Digital Camera with a 1/1.7" sensor. Its 12 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 80-12800 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 80-12800. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 12 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

A builtin Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Canon Powershot S120 to compensate for camera shake.

This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2500 to 4m 10s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2500, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.

Canon Powershot S120

The Canon Powershot S120 features a Contrast-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.

Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. There is no viewfinder on the Canon Powershot S120 and no provision to add one.
