The ultimate Premium Compact Digital Camera from Panasonic is a followup to the unique LX100 launched 4 years ago. The winning formula remains the same with an updated imaging pipeline comprised for a 21 MP Four-Thirds sensor, cropped to 16 MP at multiple aspect-ratios and new color science engine to produce state-of-the-art images.
This compact digital camera not only sports a relatively large sensor, it also boasts an ultra-wide 24mm ultra-bright F/1.8 lens with optical image stabilization than reaches 70mm-equivalent and F/2.8 at the longer end. The lens keeps its wide field-of-view at 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9 aspect-ratio, while also allowing 1:1 square images. The LX100 II is designed for photographers wit plenty of dedicated controls and customizable interface, plus a nice relatively large EVF.
