Megadap Launches Pro E-to-Z Adapter

Megadap now offers a PRO version of their high-tech Sony E to Nikon F mount adapter. This upgraded adapter delivers several performance and compatibility improvements and simplifies updates to support new lenses.

The Megadap ETZ21 Pro allows Sony E mount lenses with Full-Frame or APS-C coverage to be mounted on a Nikon Z-mount mirrorless as long as the sensor-size is compatible with the lens imaging-circle. This adapter gives access to over 100 Sony E-mount lenses, both first and third-party offerings, to the younger Z-mount for which there are fewer lenses available so far. The ETZ21 and ETZ21 Pro are electronic lens adapters that allow for autofocus and electronic aperture control.

A new mechanical design makes the ETZ21 Pro ensure better compatibility with a vast number of lenses. This results in a more streamlined design that handles better too. The other major improvement is that the new ETZ21 Pro support pass-through firmware upgrades while attached to a Nikon Z mirrorless. Additional improvements:

1. Nikon Z cameras will now recognize the the ETZ as a Native Lens. Previous Megadap adapters were seen by cameras as an adapter ring, limiting some functionality. This provides a more seamless experience, allowing photographers to fully utilize the capabilities of their Nikon Z cameras.
2. Support for customizable buttons ons on Sony lenses, offering enhanced control and flexibility in their shooting experience.
3. EXIF data now includes detailed lens brand and model information, facilitating efficient organization and post-processing. Note that certain lenses may not display the brand name in EXIF data.
4. The upgraded firmware ensures compatibility with the latest Nikon Z8 and Z9 cameras.
5. Lens Correction, enabling photographers to optimize image quality by fine-tuning lens parameters.
6. Enhanced focus performance in challenging environments, such as low-light conditions and when focusing on solid color objects, ensuring precise and accurate results.
7. Enhanced High-Speed Continuous Shooting and Improved Image Stabilization, delivering consistent speed and exposure accuracy, allowing photographers to capture every critical moment flawlessly.

The new Megadap ETZ21 PRO is available immediate for $249 USD from the Megadap website, the same price as its predecessor.
