Lens Description

The Olympus Zuiko 50-200mm F/2.8-3.5 SWD ED is a short telephoto to super telephoto zoom designed for cameras with Four-Thirds (2X) sensors. This bright variable-aperture zoom covers a 50mm to 200mm focal range. It provides the same field of view as a 100mm to 400mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.

This zoom is capable of focusing down to 120cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.21X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.

This lens is only available for Four-Thirds. Follow this link to see all current compatible digital cameras: Four-Thirds mount cameras with Four-Thirds (2X) or larger sensor.
