The Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 100mm F/2 is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This bright prime has a 100mm focal-length.
This prime lens focuses down to 44cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.5X magnification. The moderate manification of the Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 100mm F/2 makes it capable of closeup photography. The lens is not capable of autofocus and so the focus-distance must always be manually adjusted via the focus-ring.
The lens weighs 680g.
This version of the lens has a Canon EF mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Canon EF mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors. Zeiss also makes this lens for Nikon F mount.
