The Venus Optics Laowa 9mm T/2.9 Zero-D Cine is an ultra-wide prime designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This prime has a 9mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 13.5mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.
This prime lens focuses down to 12cm from the imaging plane. The lens is focused externally via a gear around the focus-ring.
The lens weighs 247g.
This version of the lens has a Leica L mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Leica L mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors. Venus Optics also makes this lens for Fujifilm X, Micro Four-Thirds, Sony E, Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts.
