The Venus Optics Laowa 8-15mm F/2.8 FF Zoom Fisheye is an ultra-wide zoom designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This bright constant-aperture zoom covers a 8 to 15mm focal-range.
This 2X zoom lens focuses down to 16cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.23X magnification. The lens is not capable of autofocus and so the focus-distance must always be manually adjusted via the focus-ring.
The lens weighs 650g.
This version of the lens has a Sony E mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Sony E mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors. Venus Optics also makes this lens for Canon RF, Leica L, Nikon Z, Fujifilm G and Hasselblad XCD mounts.
