The Venus Optics Laowa 4mm F/2.8 Circular Fisheye is an ultra-wide prime designed for cameras with a Four-Thirds (2X) sensor. This bright prime has a 4mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 8mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.
This prime lens focuses down to 8cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.11X magnification. The lens is not capable of autofocus and so the focus-distance must always be manually adjusted via the focus-ring.
The lens weighs 135g.
This version of the lens has a Micro Four-Thirds mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Micro Four-Thirds mount cameras. Venus Optics also makes this lens for Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon M, Leica L, Nikon Z and Canon RF mounts.
