The Tokina AT-X 11-20mm F/2.8 PRO DX is an ultra-wide to wide zoom designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This bright constant-aperture zoom covers a 11 to 20mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 16.5-30mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.
This 2X zoom lens focuses down to 28cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.12X magnification. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Tokina to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
The lens weighs 560g.
This version of the lens has a Nikon F mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Nikon F mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors. Tokina also makes this lens for Canon EF mount.
