Autofocus LensLens Description
The Tamron Di III 150-500mm F/5-6.7 VC VXD is a short telephoto to super telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 150 to 500mm focal-range. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for camera shake.
This 3X zoom lens focuses down to 60cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.32X magnification. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.
The lens weighs 1.725kg. Its body is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. Seals in key areas prevent entry of water and dust.
This version of the lens has a Sony E mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Sony E mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors. Tamron also makes this lens for Fujifilm X and Nikon Z mounts.
