Tamron Di II 16-300mm F/3.5-6.3 VC PZD Macro Lens
For Canon EF Mount
The Tamron Di II 16-300mm F/3.5-6.3 VC PZD Macro is a wide to super telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 16mm to 300mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 24-450mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for camera shake. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.
This zoom can focus down to 39cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.34X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Tamron to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
This version has a Canon EF lens mount. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Canon EF mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) or smaller sensors. Tamron also made this lens available for Nikon F, Sony A mounts.
