Lens Description

The Tamron Di 70-300mm F/4-5.6 LD is a normal to medium telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 70mm to 300mm focal-range.

This zoom can focus down to 150cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.5X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. While this lens is capable of AF, it does not have a built-in focus motor. It can only focus with a compatible camera body which features a mechanical AF-coupling.

This version has a Sony A lens mount. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Sony A mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors. Tamron also made this lens available for Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K mounts.
