Lens Description

The Sony E 30mm F/3.5 Macro is a normal prime designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.5X) sensor. This prime has a 30mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 45mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.

This prime can focus down to 9.5cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 1X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Sony to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This lens is only available for Sony E. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Sony E mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors.
