Lens Description

The Samyang MF 85mm F/1.4 MK2 is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.6X) sensor. This ultra-bright prime has a 85mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 136mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.

This prime can focus down to 110cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.09X. The lens is not capable of autofocus and so the focus-distance must always be manually adjusted via the focus-ring.

This version has a Canon M lens mount. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Canon M mount cameras. Samyang also made this lens available for Canon EF, Fujifilm X, Micro Four-Thirds, Nikon F, Sony E mounts.
