Lens Description

The Pentax HD D FA 28-105mm F/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR is a wide to short telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 28mm to 105mm focal-range. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.

This zoom can focus down to 50cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.22X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Pentax to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This lens is only available for Pentax K. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Pentax K mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors.
