Lens Description

The Pentax 645 DA 28-45mm F/4.5 ED AW SR HD is an ultra-wide to normal zoom designed for cameras with 645D (0.8X) sensors. This constant-aperture zoom covers a 28mm to 45mm focal range. It provides the same field of view as a 22.4mm to 36mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. An optical Image Stabilization System built into the lens compensates for camera shake. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.

This zoom is capable of focusing down to 40cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.21X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. While this lens is capable of AF, it does not have a built-in focus motor. It can only focus with a compatible camera body which features a mechanical AF-coupling.

This lens is only available for Pentax 645. Follow this link to see all current compatible digital cameras: Pentax 645 mount cameras with 645D (0.8X) or larger sensor.
