Lens Description

The Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm F/1.2 ASPH Power OIS is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a Four-Thirds (2X) sensor. This ultra-bright prime has a 42.5mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 85mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for camera shake.

This prime can focus down to 50cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.1X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Panasonic to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This lens is only available for Micro Four-Thirds. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Micro Four-Thirds mount cameras.
