Lens Description

The Nikkor AF-S 800mm F/5.6E FL ED VR is a super telephoto prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This prime has a 800mm focal-length. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for of up to 4.5-stopsMeasured according the the CIPA Standard. of camera shake.

This prime can focus down to 5800cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.15X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.
