Lens Description

The Canon RF 35mm F/1.8 Macro IS is a normal prime designed for cameras with Full-Frame sensors. This ultra-bright prime has a 35mm focal-length. An optical Image Stabilization System built into the lens compensates for camera shake of up to 5 stopsMeasured according the the CIPA Standard..

This prime is capable of focusing down to 17cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.5X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Canon to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
