The Canon RF 1200mm F/8L IS USM is a super telephoto prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This prime has a 1200mm focal-length. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for of up to 4-stopsMeasured according the the CIPA Standard. of camera shake.
This prime lens focuses down to 430cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.29X magnification. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.
The lens weighs 3.34kg.
This lens is only available for the Canon RF mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Canon RF mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors.
