Lens Description

The Canon EF-M 18-150mm F/3.5-5.6 IS STM is a wide to short telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.6X) sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 18mm to 150mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 28.8-240mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for of up to 4-stopsMeasured according the the CIPA Standard. of camera shake.

This zoom can focus down to 25cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.31X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Canon to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
