The Zeiss ZX1 is a Large Digital Camera with a Full-Frame sensor. Its 37 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 80-51200 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 80-51200. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in very low-light. With 37 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 31" x 20" at 240 DPI.
This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2000 to 30s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Zeiss ZX1 features a 255-point Contrast-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.
Although this camera offers full manual controls, it does not have any control-dials to change exposure parameters directly. This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. Framing on the Zeiss ZX1 is performed via a 0.70" Built-in EVF with 5.8 Megapixels. This extra large EVF has 0.74X magnification and shows 100% coverage.
