The Sony Alpha A1 is a Mirrorless Digital Camera with a Full-Frame sensor and a Sony E lens mount. Its 50 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-32000 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 50-102400. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in very low-light. With 50 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 36" x 24" at 240 DPI.
A builtin 5-Axis Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Sony Alpha A1 to compensate for camera shake up to 5.5-Stops beyond hand-holding with any mounted lens.
This camera features a hybrid shutter that can expose for 1/32000 to 30s. Bulb exposures of an unspecified duration are possible with this camera. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/32000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Sony Alpha A1 features a 759-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame. Manual Focus is also available.
Rare triple control-dials are featured on this digital camera, giving the efficient direct control over every exposure-parameter needed by professional photographers. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Framing on the Sony Alpha A1 is performed via a 0.64" Built-in EVF with 9.4 Megapixels. This extra large EVF has 0.90X magnification and shows 100% coverage.
