The Sigma fp is a Mirrorless Digital Camera with a Full-Frame sensor and a Leica L lens mount. Its 24 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-25600 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 6-102400. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in very low-light. With 24 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 25" x 16" at 240 DPI.
This camera features an electronic shutter that can expose for 1/8000 to 30s. Bulb exposures of an unspecified duration are possible with this camera. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/8000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Sigma fp features a Contrast-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.
Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. There is no viewfinder on the Sigma fp and no provision to add one.
