Digital Camera Description

The Sigma DP1 Merrill is a Medium Digital Camera with an APS-C sensor. Its 15 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-6400 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-6400. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 15 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2000 to 15s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.

Sigma DP1 Merrill

The Sigma DP1 Merrill features a 9-point Contrast-Detect AF system.

Although this camera offers full manual controls, it does not have any control-dials to change exposure parameters directly. This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. There is no viewfinder on the Sigma DP1 Merrill and no provision to add one.
