Digital Camera Description

The Panasonic Lumix FZ80 is a Large Digital Camera with a 1/2.3" sensor. Its 18 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 80-3200 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 80-6400. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 18 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

A builtin Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Panasonic Lumix FZ80 to compensate for camera shake.

This camera features a hybrid shutter that can expose for 1/16000 to 4s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/16000, fast action can easily be frozen. Given that is does not support very slow shutter-speeds, this camera is unsuitable for night photography. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.

Panasonic Lumix FZ80

The Panasonic Lumix FZ80 features a 49-point Contrast-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.

A single control-dial on this camera makes it easy to use semi-automatic modes by adjusting the current exposure parameter directly This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. Framing on the Panasonic Lumix FZ80 is performed via a 0.20" Built-in EVF with 1.2 Megapixels. This small EVF has 0.46X magnification and shows 100% coverage.
