Digital Camera Description

The Nikon 1 S2 is a Mirrorless Digital Camera with a 1" sensor and a Nikon 1 lens mount. Its 14 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 200-12800 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 200-12800. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 14 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

This camera features an electronic shutter that can expose for 1/16000 to 30s. Bulb exposures of an unspecified duration are possible with this camera. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/16000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.

Nikon 1 S2

The Nikon 1 S2 features a 135-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame. Manual Focus is also available.

Although this camera offers full manual controls, it does not have any control-dials to change exposure parameters directly. This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. There is no viewfinder on the Nikon 1 S2 and no provision to add one.
