Digital Camera Description

The Nikon 1 AW1 is a Mirrorless Digital Camera with a 1" sensor and a Nikon 1 lens mount. Its 14 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 160-6400 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 160-6400. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 14 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

This camera features an electronic shutter that can expose for 1/16000 to 30s. This camera can make Bulb exposures up to 2m. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/16000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.

Nikon 1 AW1

The Nikon 1 AW1 features a 135-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame. Manual Focus is also available.

A single control-dial on this camera makes it easy to use semi-automatic modes by adjusting the current exposure parameter directly The Nikon 1 AW1 is waterproof to a 15 meter depth. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. This particular model is also freezeproof down to -10C. There is no viewfinder on the Nikon 1 AW1 and no provision to add one.
